23rd March 2016 | Camera Troubles, Puppy Grooming & New Shoes

Good evening you lovely people, I have had a great day fuelled by mostly too much coffee, so have spent the afternoon wired and scatty - lucky me!

I got all my work done early, and had a couple of hours I could kill so popped into the city with the goal of purchasing a new camera, but not just any old camera (oh no no no!) I was after the blogger cliché Olympus pen e-pl7. Its beautiful, and most importantly soon to be discontinued (so I'm told by the helpful staff at Jessops) resulting in a nice little price decrease which I had been made aware of by the lovely Carly Rowena. Bringing it tumbling all the way down to my budget - YES! So I tottered off, with high hopes I would be bringing my baby home with me today so obviously the last one had been sold yesterday...and they had no more in the warehouse...and you can't buy the deal I wanted online...I was starting to see my beautiful camera fade into the distance, but alas Ipswich store saved the day with 1 camera left in stock, and it's in silver which is the cheapest option (winner) and it's ex display so can potentially get some more dollar off (bonus round winner!)So I will update you on Friday whether I buy it or not (hint - I will be buying it Eeek!)

I had the puppies booked in for a groom at scruffy to fluffy and although the whole time I was in Jessops I was clock watching, it seemed that as soon as I left the shop I hadn't the foggiest clue that I was in a rush, and whilst on my way back to the car decided on a leisurely stroll around H&M.
In the queue with a baggy, long classic white shirt, a basic grey v neck oversized tee, and the most beautiful brushed fur leopard print Chelsea boots in the sale at £10! which I actually broke a shelf to get my hands on (Oops, sorry H&M) I suddenly remembered I was supposed to have had the puppies dropped off 10 minutes ago. Shit.  I was in a queue, with no signal, a missed call from the groomers, and my beautiful last size 5 sale boots in hand. . . so as I (obvs) waited to pay for my boots (I was no way leaving those babies in the shop) I tried to text for help, I tried to call the groomers praying my phone would find signal and help me out - it didn't. So after leaving H&M I managed to get a call of help out and Debbie thankfully dropped the puppies off at the groomers for me, and I turned up 10 minutes later all flustered and apologetic and please don't take it out on my babies haircut!
I then spent the rest of my afternoon working, completely wired and in a bit of a flustered haze until I had to go pick the babies up who look completely adorable. I tried to bribe them into a few photos - it didn't work well. I will leave you with the few images I managed to snap.
Prim (or Prim the princess as she is known) is the caramel & white Shih Tzu, and Luna the black Shih-Poo! Yes that's pronounced how you think it is...(shih Tzu x Toy Poodle) aka my babies.

OOTD | Autumn Has Fallen

So we are finally in the grasp of Autumn, crisp bright sunny days, scented candles, chai tea, wood burners, rosy cheeks and the season that I think all fashion lovers long for! As Autumn is my favourite season I have decided to kick start a series of outfit of the day posts. So myself and TheGirlInspired (click here to find her on YouTube for all things beauty! ps I helped filmed her latest look book, go tell her I said hi!) grabbed a camera and took off to take photos in the great outdoors. Below is the first look of the season titled "Autumn Has Fallen"

Beanie, Jeans & Handbag are this season Primark, Boots and Jacket are last year H&M.

Millie Mackintosh || My Top Picks

As if we needed another reason to love and envy Millie Mackintosh...

Obviously Millie first made herself known on MIC (Made in Chelsea for those who must have been living under a rock for the last few years) and since then I have personally stalked her every move - not in a creepy way, in a perfectly legal and healthy internet stalker kind of way. I love her style, her fitness ethic and how genuine Millie seems, also who can't envy Pro Green and Millie's marriage, they are so loved up, and enjoy having a giggle with each other, thankfully they are as addicted to Twitter and Instagram as I am to them, so I don't have to go long with a #TBT wedding pic, or a sneaky sleeping video! So imagine my delight when Millie was to launch her own clothing line!

Her website launched today (today also happens to be Millie and Pro Greens first wedding anniversary...*cough* stalker) and crashed shortly after due to popularity! and although I have had to spend my day earning pennies to be able to afford such luxuries, I managed to sneak a peek on my lunch break at the modest but gorgeous collection Millie has launched her website with, and oh my, I was not disappointed!

The website itself is chic, elegant, easy to navigate and has pictures of Millie everywhere! But if I was that gorgeous, I too would have photos of myself all over my website. The prices are at the top end of high street, but the pieces do look like quality items - I can't yet really judge as I have only seen the pictures, I'm sure time will tell.

Right enough of all that stuff, lets move onto my top picks of the collection!

My Pick of the Dresses - Bonded Scuba Prom Dress

My Pick of the Tops - X-over Drape Blouse

My Pick of the Separates - Animal Jersey Mini Skirt

2nd Pick of the Separates - PU Shorts
(Couldn't decide on just one!)

I hope to get my hands on a few of the pieces soon, let me know your favourites in the comments!

Haul

Primark | Next | The Range

Who doesn't love a good little shopping spree?! We'll I have been spending my pennies - a favourite past time of mine I will have you know! And as I have a few items I thought I should really (being a blogger now an all!) do a haul for you guys. So enjoy.

First stop was NEXT, good job this was on my lunch break as I can do some serious damage to the bank balance in here. But I only purchased the Luxury Reed Diffuser in the sent Milan.

I have loved this scent for about 2 years, its my absolute favourite, also it comes in about everything you would every want to smell nice, diffusers, candles, perfumes! because you know, who doesn't want to smell like their house...you can see the range hereNEXT describe the scent as "A vibrant fruity fragrance with a floral heart and a lingering woody base" I think its light, clean, crisp, and has a florally melon like scent to it, perfect for spring / summer time ( very professional description I know!) I bought the large bottle, and it scents my whole house, what more can you ask for from a scent.
Next stop was The Range, I picked up the following vase and flameless candle, after now two candle disasters, my finance believes its best I stick to these...However they are really good, they are real wax, and scented vanilla, require 3AAA batteries, and flicker like an actual candle. I even have a set of 6 that includes a remote control, pictured in photo above. I'm planning on placing the candle inside the vase, as it will look super cute for winter evenings all flickering away romantically....aww.
The vase matches our lampshade in the bedroom, which came from NEXT, and I shall be in the near future (once I have bedside tables) be purchasing a matching heart shaped lamp also. See lamp here.

Then onto Primark, who doesn't love Primark, bargain central! I'm not going to talk you through each item, the pictures are pretty self explanatory! I purchased the following:

Side Note: These are the most comfortable trousers I have ever placed my legs into, and I will be buying the whole range.
I also bought undies too, but you don't need to see those!

Yay new things! On that note I have just found a snap chat I sent a while back - but its very fitting and just made me giggle, so I shall leave you with it, however unflattering it may be.

The Summer Fling Of 2014

Anyone else feel the Skort is the fling of summer 2014? I doubt this trend will last and will hardly be a staple wardrobe item, however flings have the place in life and I will certainly be getting myself some! Cute yet practical (no flashing my panties during lazy day picnic's for me this year!) they are a little quirky and yet easily worn. However much I love this trend, I don't want to be spending a lot of money on an item that will get slung to the back of my wardrobe after the sunshine says goodbye.
Below is a selection of my favourite's currently on the high street.
H&M £14.99

Miss Guided £12.99

Tesco £6 (50% Off!)

Primark £10 not available online

Bank £15 (sale price)

New Look £17.99

Miss Selfridge £17.50 (Sale Price)

Get The Festival Look

With Glastonbury this weekend we open our little hearts to festival season.  Having never been to a festival (I am losing my festival virginity next month at Sonisphere, not my choice of festival but hey ho, sometimes your first's aren't exactly what you were expecting...) I can't comment on the festivals themselves. However I'm sure I get the jist, alcohol, music, tents, and mud right? What I can comment on till my hearts content is festival fashion! Who doesn't love themselves some short shorts, wellies, a tasselled waste coat, and don't forget the flower headband! But with so much out there where do I start? So whilst browsing the world wide web, Topshop seemed to be the place I lingered most, they have some beautiful pieces that I was drooling over for my upcoming event, so I thought I would share them.  How many pieces can you justify buying for a two day event....below are a few of my favourites, including links. enjoy!
